- DELIMING DISH MACHINES: Fill tank to 2 to 3 inches below overflow. Turn on tank heaters. Add 1 gallon of LIME BE GONE and run machine until lime scale disappears. Apply full strength where spray does not reach. Scrape away heavy lime build up. Drain tank. Refill with fresh water. Run machine 5 minutes and drain. Delime as necessary to prevent the reoccurrence of lime scale.
- DELIING STEAM TABLES: Brush or spray LIME BE GONE full strength on interior surfaces. Let stand 10 minutes then fill with water. Turn on heat and bring to operating temperature. Let stand another 10 minutes. Brush or scrape off remaining deposits. Drain and flush thoroughly with fresh water.
- DESCALING COFFEE URNS: Fill urn with hot water. Add 1 to 2 ounces of LIME BE GONE per gallon of hot water. Heat and let stand for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- ALUMINUM EQUIPMENT: Soak utensils in solution of 3 ounces of LIME BE GONE per gallon of hot water, until bright. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and drain dry. For large items, apply solution with a saturated cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Avoid prolonged contact with aluminum.
